We will be traveling full time and the automatic can not be towed without a trailer. Would never sell it if it were a manual. We've dedicated thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours on the rebuilds. Feel Free to call me 214-218-9024... I'm Mark. We will entertain any offer so feel free to submit an offer. We bought this van from the original owners and other than the light seam rust they took pretty good care of it. I wanted a bullet proof van for a 10 week trip so I invested $13,000 in upgrades. So, if you are looking for a strong van with a very large amount of upgrades and rebuilds then please take the time to read the entire ad. Here's a link to my technical site I made while doing all the upgrades. http://westyvan.blogspot.com/ You will see, I spent a lot of time trying to do what was right for the van. If you don't mind the look then this is the van for you. Also, if you want an original body to work with then this is also the van for you. If you want a pristine CA, AZ, NM body then this is not the van for you. About the Exterior: There exterior has had some seam rust but has never had any rust through. I've treated it with rust converter and Rust Bullet which is why there is all the silver stuff. It doesn't have any rust through and the floor pans do not have any rust. There are rock chips on the front and sides of the van. It's a 26 year old car driving on highways... that's gonna be there. Bonus:I have the parts to bring the Zetec conversion from the current version to the 2010 build. That's another few thousand dollars in parts. Given the time constraints we are under I don't have the time to get them in.Second, we just detailed the van and applied 2 coats of hard wax. Finally, have the halogen headlight upgrades. I will break the ad into 4 sections. Parts List, Project List, History & Notes and Needs. It was originally bought in Seattle and moved to the Midwest where it spent most of it’s life. We bought and moved it from the Midwest to Dallas Texas. We’ve owned it for almost 6 years where it has been garage kept. In Dallas I spent $200+ per month to store it near my place. Again, I invested a lot of time and money in it for a summer long trip of 10 weeks and 9000 miles around the US. If you don't know about the Zetec conversion do some research. The horse power goes from 85 to 130 (a 53% increase). It also is a modern day near bullet proof engine. The engine is very advanced; please take the time at their website www.bostig.com. You can monitor 8 pages of engine statistics in real time with the Scan Tool OBD-II interface. There is also a security key system that totally disables the engine when this is removed.
