Vehicle Detail
This is my daily driven vortech supercharged camaro SS. The car has 113K on it, but the engine, 6 speed trans, and Strange S60 rearend have less than 4000 miles. The engine is a 385 ci 4 bolt LT1 with an all forged stroker Eagle rotating assembly. It has forged dish pistons (approx 9:1), LT4 "hot cam", ported 58mm throttle body, and ported Edelbrock heads. The supercharger is a T-trim, vortech with stock pulleys (about 6 lbs of boost). Originally, the motor was a 355 LT1 that was dyno tuned at 430 rwhp. This new stroker motor was installed with the same tune, but should be re-tuned for greater horsepower and torque. It has long tube headers, and a 3 inch magnaflow exhaust system. It runs great, but needs an up to date tune to account for the greater cubic inches and fuel demands under heavy load (boost). I don't have access to an LT1 tuner, so I have left the tune as it is. I drive the car everyday, it has great throttle response, smooth power, and never runs hot (has 160 thermostat and adjusted fans). The 6 speed transmission was also rebuilt and fitted with a centerforce dual friction clutch. The transmission and clutch operate perfectly and is shifted with a short throw pistol grip shifter. The driveshaft is a 3 inch chromemoly shaft from Strange Engineering and 1350 yoke. It has a Spohn torque arm, BMR Lower control arms, and BMR panhard bar. It is all fitted to a Strange S60 rearend with 4:56 gears. The drivetrain is very stout and operates perfectly. The wheels are Weld Prostars (15x5 in front and 15x10 in rear). It is fitted with 275 MT drag radials. The tires are in great shape. The interior is in good shape, but does have it's normal and expected wear for a daily driven vehicle. The leather seats are in good shape and there are no tears. Dash is in good shape (there is a crack on the plastic piece that extends to the windshield) and has white faced gauges. All gauges work perfectly. There is no air conditioner, however, the compressor and air conditioner parts are installed, just never charged. The radio is stock, however, in the back is a 15 in subwoofer, 2 amps, and farad capacitor. The sound system works great and looks great. The sound system was installed when I bought the car, so I am not too familiar with it, other than it works great. The car use to have a ground effects package but I removed it so it could use some paint along the very bottom edge of the car (see pics). It is not a show car, but a great daily driver and with a good tune could be a track car. The paint is in good condition but has the usual chips of a daily driver (no dents or rust). I drive this car daily, so it has never been to the track (I have other cars for that). I am selling this car well below what has been put into it so I can finish some other projects I have. You can own the this car for a fraction of what it cost to build. It is sold as is with no warranty. No games, if your feedback is less than 10, call me first. For questions call me in the evenings at 580-595-4900. $500.00 deposit due within 24 hours and full payment due in 7 days.
