Vehicle Detail

1971 Chevrolet Blazer! For those of you who are Chevy fanatics like me, you will say, no, that is a 69 or 70. Nope, its just a 71 with a 70 grill in it. I like the look of the 69-70 grills more, and I wanted to put some driving lights where the turn signals go in the 70 grill. I started this project about 3 years ago. I have had this Blazer since 1993 and decided to rebuild her. At the time I started this project, the 396 only had about 30,000 miles on it from the first build I had done on the rig. Beyond the engine, everything else has been gone through one way or the other. You will see the cowl induction hood with flame job, billet grill, chromed out 396 (edelebrock carb, accel HEI, mild cam, 325 HP stock), built 700R4 with literally less than 100 miles on it, Smart shift solenoid (push button shifter), all new seals in NP205, new rear driveline, new wheel bearings, brakes, and ball joints, 40 gallon Aero fuel tank, leather powered and heated seats in the front, cloth buckets in the rear, new carpet kit, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, which are H3 Hummer mirrors blocked and glassed into the doors, DVD and stereo with four 6X9's, tweets and mids in the front, sub woofer that is powered by the amp, a totally custom and awesome looking center console with cup holders and locking door. You will also notice four courtesy lights that are an updated style, aluminium rear side panels with bedliner material, and foam insulation behind, a locking fuel door with the old filler neck removed. I am still thinking that I will cry when I see this rig go, but my priorities in life are different now, and I think I can watch her go. If I was to keep her, the only unfinished business I had in mind are the following: front driveline ( I never had one made because of the cost, and to be honest I did not intend to ever put it in four wheel drive anyway), and a new wiring harness. (everything functions fine, but this is the one thing I wish I had done at the begining of the project). I will tell you that I watch ebay all the time for these rigs, and I think my reserve price is fair. I dont think you will find a cooler looking Blazer. It is not perfect, but its damn close!! Local pickup only, unless buyer wants to arrange shipping. Full payment within 7 days of end of auction, you get the keys, when I get cash or money order. DO NOT BID if you have bad feedback or dont have the money!!
