Excellent Shape, Awesome vehicle, ready to go! Please email or call for questions or offers! We are selling our 1977 VW Bus. It is in excellent shape inside and out. It runs great as well. It is a 4 speed stick shift. We are only the third owner of this vehicle. It originally came from South Carolina. It has been very well maintained with a trail of paperwork to prove it. It was repainted at some point and the front two seats have been recovered in the green vinyl instead of the original plaid. It is a pop top for a sleeping area on top, one on the bottom, and a cot that can go across the front two seats. It has all of the original curtains, has tow bars for it, racks for the top, a cover, and has been rust proofed underneath. It has a working sink and ice box. It also has lots of cabinets for storage and a table. It's yellow in color with the green/yellow plaid interior and green carpet. It is overall in excellent shape. We are selling because we just haven't had the time to camp with it or take it to car shows. It has always been in storage through the winter months and always stored inside, even in the summer. The sink pump was replaced last year and the battery is brand new. In 2003 a new motor was put in (has less than 1500 miles on it), oil has been changed every 1500 miles. It is truly a classic. The tires are also fairly new. We looked in over with a fine tooth comb today and did notice there are a couple of VERY minute scraches and a VERY small dent. I tried to show them in the pictures that were recently added. There are also two extremely small tears in the upper canvas, nothing that ever stopped us from camping with it though, one was patched when we got it and the other we taped over just so it wouldn't get any bigger. We also have lots of VW books to go with it. Let us know if you are interested in seeing it. It is well worth the $9,500 we are asking for the condition it is in. We have no doubt that this vehicle would easily make the drive across country. We do not have a formal appraisal for it, just lots of car show "experts" :) We have tons of paperwork that goes with the vehicle as well and have the title in our possession.
