1962 Classic VW Beetle Original Ragtop Beauty This is a Rare example of a VW Ragtop Classic California Car. It was Repainted Two Years Ago with German Paint as represented on the "Ditzler Color Chart." Best described to the eye as Pistachio. Pans are Great. This beauty has been Garaged for most of its life. There is a New 1600 Dual Port Engine, and Transmission has been redone with 1275 Miles on it. It has been Converted to 12 Volts. It has a Newly Redone Creme Interior and White Headliner. The Ragtop has the Goldie Handle. The Rubber was replaced. It has a Remote Alarm System, that needs re-hooking up, and there is a Working JVC Stereo System. This can be used as a Daily Driver. It is was delivered to my home by driving it 1 1/2 hours without overheating. The Brakes have been redone. There is small wear on the car from being on a movie set, but this Beetle is turning "50 Years old." The Bug gets thumbs up on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California and Everywhere it Goes. The Rack is extra if interested, and the props and yellow plate does not go with the car. The Tires are almost New. One small piece of molding should be replaced if desired, and has a crack. The Gas Tank Works. It is currently Registered in California. I have sold many Classics and items, and it has been a pleasant experience for many.
