Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on my observations while driving it. The information contained within this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed given the scope of my inspections and the fact that I am not a certified mechanic. Rather, this description is intended to relay to you what you would observe during a typical test drive so you can feel as if you've driven it yourself. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. This example is presented in Pewter with gray interior and is equipped with the desirable LT trim. The photos will show that this is a great looking truck. I would rate the exterior of this Tahoe as ABOVE AVERAGE. There are no major dents, scratches or rust. The paint has a nice shine. The tires have average wear but should go another year or so before you will have to replace them depending on your personal preference and your states inspection laws. All of the glass is in tact. There is a hitch at the rear for towing, which these trucks are great for. This Tahoe comes with the harder to find horizontal rear access. Most come with the barn doors which make looking into your rearview mirror tricky. On this truck, the glass swings upward and the lower portion drops like a tail gate. This feature is also handy when loading things like groceries in the rain because the raised glass protects you from falling rain. The interior of this truck is very clean. I would rate the interior as AVERAGE. The carpets and headliner are both nice and clean. With the exception of the usual rip in the drivers seat, the leather interior shows very well. The cargo area is clean and spacious. There are cup holders and storage areas everywhere. The factory CD stereo system sounds good. The climate control works as it should. The air conditioner will need charged for the summer months. The front seats are power operated. The factory remote entry system is still in perfect working order. The original owners manuals are included. Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good condition. I have driven it on several occasions. The 350ci V8 starts right up and runs very well and doesn't seem to have any leaks. During the times I drove this truck, the engine held perfect oil pressure and kept a steady, cool temperature. The suspension and steering are tight. Over harsh bumps, you can hear a little noise but nothing out of the ordinary for a vehicle this heavy that has close to 140,000 miles on it. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts fine. The 4WD works as it should and also gives you the option of AWD which is nice for the winter months where conditions can change as quickly as you can turn onto a different street. I think the brake pedal is a little soft but the truck does stop fine. I checked the brake fluid and it is where it should be so I would not think there is a leak anywhere. Overall, it feels like a strong runner. It accellerates to highway speeds easily and holds 70+ mph no problem. On the highway, it drives nice and smooth with no pulling or shaking. There is an airbag light on in the dash. It's not perfect but I think it's in pretty good shape for the miles. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
