Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a lot would ask by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the big lots pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on how it drives. The information in this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. The goal of my descriptions are to tell you in detail what it's like to drive this vehicle so you feel that you have driven it yourself. If you would like to see any vehicle in my inventory in person, just ask. We can arrange a mutual time to meet at my warehouse so you can kick the tires all you want. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. You are buying a wholesale vehicle that has not been serviced or reconditioned unless the description specifically states otherwise. Any known defects are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding. I am human and most cars are several years old...please have realistic expectations when you bid. It is my pleasure to present this gem of a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the rare Orvis package for a NO RESERVE auction. All I can say about this Jeep is "wow"! In 1995, the Orvis package was introduced as an upgrade to the already top of the line Limited Edition model. In addition to its unique color scheme, the Orvis edition model came standard with the 225hp/300ft-lb 5.2L V8 that was optional on other models. These also came with the tow package as well as the Up-Country suspension upgrade. They were only produced for three years with a total production of under 15,000 units between all three years which make them very collectible. This is probably the nicest one I have seen in a while. Besides a small spot of rust on the bottom of the tail gate (which is normal), I would rate the exterior of this Jeep as EXCELLENT. Just look at the photo's!!! The Orvis specific Moss Green paint has a mile deep shine from any angle. The normal Limited Edition wheels received matching Moss Green painted inserts between the spokes for the Orvis Edition. The wheels are in great shape and the tires are all matching with good tread left. It's obvious that this Jeep was very loved from it's low miles and great condition. Even the fog lights still work! There are a full set of Orvis Edition floor mats in the back as well as the original Orvis spare tire cover complete with storage compartments built in! The interior of this Jeep is very nice, too. I would rate the interior of this Jeep as EXCELLENT. As you can see in the photos, the special Orvis Edition leather seats show absolutely no signs of wear, not even the drivers seat! The carpets and headliner are both in excellent condition throughout. The door panels are all completely in tact and all of the buttons work. Both front seats are power operated. The rear cargo cover is still there and so are both cargo nets. The automatic climate control works as it should and the air conditioner is ice cold. The Infinity Gold CD stereo system still sounds excellent. In the glove compartment, you will find a full set of owners manuals. Also in with the manuals is the original pink bill of sale showing that this truck was sold for $35,000 back in 1995 and was bought cash. This vehicle seems to have had a great life. Again, I will let the interior photos speak for themselves. This is truly a no excuses truck. Mechanically, this Jeep is awesome. The 5.2L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. From the "Mopar" oil change sticker in the corner of the windshield to the "Mopar" battery under the hood, I could guess that this truck has been dealer serviced throughout its life. During my test drive, the engine held perfect oil pressure and ran nice and cool. The big V8 makes highway driving and accelleration a breeze, as well as towing. On the highway, this Jeep drives nice and strait. At 70mph, there are no vibrations and no pulling. The suspension and steering both feel nice and tight. The brakes stop the truck well and exhibit no squeeling or pulsation. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts very well. This one is equipped with the Quadra-Trac full time 4WD system. I cannot honestly come up with a single bad thing to say about this Jeep. Looking at the underside photo, it looks like the exhaust system is new, too. Here we have a limited production model of a very desirable vehicle that looks to have only had one owner, low miles, dealer service and is in uncommonly good condition. It has a valid PA inspection through the end of April, 2012. Please bid with absolute confidence. Jeeps like this don't come around very often. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
