Up for sale is MF Auto Inc. of Knoxville Tennessee's shop truck and owners personal daily driver vehicle. MF Auto is the Southeast leading Independent VW/Audi specialist. http://www.mfauto.com/ This truck was built and driven by the owner as his daily driver and demo vehicle, with no expense spared. The truck was originally bought around the corner from our shop in Knoxville where it spent it's entire life. This is an honest, clean, rust free truck with solid strut towers and frame horns. The bed is in average shape for a truck, dented and scratched but no rust. We first professionally painted the truck with a high quality matte black paint job that has been on the truck for over 2 years and still looks great, we also installed new tail lights at that time. Suspension was replaced with Bilstein sport front struts and Neuspeed sport front springs. The rear of the truck has been lowered with 2 1/2 drop plates and new Monroe air shocks so it can still handle a load when necessary. All front end components have been replaced including ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, hubs, and axles. Brakes are new all around, including rotors, pads, rear shoes, rear bearings and wheel cylinders. Engine has all new glow plugs and relay, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, head gasket, and drive belts. The clutch was also replaced 6 months ago. Interior is in above average condition with nice carpet, and a crack free dash. One of the only things left in the interior would be to recover the front drivers seat which has a few cracks and recover the headliner. This truck runs perfectly with the 1.6 diesel and 4 speed trans. Truck can easily keep 65-70 mph high way speeds and does not smoke excessively, with a consistent 45 mpg. Truck starts perfectly in cold weather and also has a block heater installed. Ac blows cold, and heat is nice and hot. Truck has a period correct, fiberglass Leer topper and a Thule rack with steelhead bike rack. Inside there is also a Pioneer head unit with I pod adapter, with a Kenwood amp running 2 6x9's. Wheels are 1552's RML 15x8's with Toyo T1R 195-45-15's with 60% tread left. If you are looking for a nice truck that is mostly complete and has had a lot of work already done, than this is it. This truck turns a lot of heads and would make a great promotional vehicle for any business. Truck runs nice and straight down the road, handles well and feels very solid. This truck easily sees 100 miles per day and we wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. We are replacing this truck with a new project for the shop, which is the only reason we are selling it.
