This auction is for a 2000 8cyl jaguar s-type 4.0, the car is in excellent shape, no issues at all, heated seats, a/c all is up to date with all maintenance and performs perfectly. this car is a non smoker car, the interior is very clean I am only selling it because I want a change. the car has 170,000 miles on it, has factory navigation six cd changer and cassette, new tires, new brakes, new plugs an all else that came with the tune up it just had which ended up costing $3500. This car was taken cared of by jaguar of Hartford and there are records of all the work that has been put in it, which is about $24,000 or more in the past three years. The best thing about the s-type to me is the engine, most of the time you cannot even tell that the car is on, and just lightly pushing on the gas can show you its power, on the highway the car without even pressing on the gas stays at 80 push a little more you will be going at 100mph and don't even think about flooring it, you will be going so fast that, you wont believe it and the thing is, the car stays so smooth you really don't realize your going so fast because it feels so natural, that is best thing about these cars to me. The way it shifts is beautiful, this car is power, and you will feel it when you drive, especially on the high way. I am only selling it because, my playboy days are over, make no mistake I love the car, or I would not have put so much money into it. Right now I need something that is not so pretty like a truck, and I can use it to work. that's the only reason I am selling it, doesnt make sense to pay taxes on two cars right now for me.
