Sometimes a bit of power steering fluid leaks onto the exhaust and vaporizes causing a slight odor. Other than that, in the next year or so the rear shocks and brakes could stand to be replaced. The tires are 50%. Why I Am Selling The car is in better than great shape for it's age, kilometers, and price. I am only selling it because I purchased a Jetta TDI due to the fact that my employer provides me with Free Diesel. When it comes to comfort, features, speed and control (especially under wet/slippery conditions)... I would much rather drive this Passat than the Jetta TDI... but free fuel is free fuel ;) Good Luck!
