For sale is a factory built right hand drive Jeep Cherokee model year 1996, in 4X4. This truly is a clean well running Jeep with low mileage. We bought this Jeep in 2009 for my wife to deliver mail in at the post office, since she has owned it the Jeep has maybe seen two full months of work and otherwise it sits at our house. The rest of the routes that my wife runs she uses a post office vehicle (LLV) and now she has a post office vehicle all the time and we really have no use for this Jeep. A little background about the Jeep, it is an American made 1996 Jeep Cherokee built in Baltimore Maryland then shipped to Japan (which is why it is right side drive) in Japan it had one owner and was well taken care of but like all vehicles it was eventually traded in. An American importer in Los Angles CA bought the Jeep and had it shipped back to the USA to sell on his lot. We bought the vehicle from him in the spring of 2009 and had it trailer delivered from LosAngles to PA. It now has a clean and clear PA title that we have so you will not have to wait around for any bank / payoff. When we got the Jeep it needed new hoses, and one new shock for PA state inspection however we replaced both shocks to keep wear the same. It has had oil changes every 3000 miles done by a local shop and a few other minor things to keep maintenance up on the Jeep. When we bought this Jeep we treated it like an investment and have taken care of it as such so the maintenance work has been done as preventative maintenance and not because it has been truly necessary. During the Jeeps last state inspection 7/10 we were told that the ball joints passed but that one was getting bad so instead of waiting we had them replaced late last year. We recently put 4 brand new Goodyear Wrangler tires on the Jeep and if you look at the pictures I have attached you can see that the tires still have their rubber titts on them. Speaking of the pictures look at the mileage picture and you will see that it is in kilometer's and not miles as is the speedometer. Kilometer to Miles is a simple conversion 1 KM = 0.621 Mile so the odometer reads 92571 Kilometers X 0.621 = 57486 Miles. Also like I said looking at the speedometer the big numbers are KM per hour and the small numbers are Miles per hour. I also want to mention that the Jeep has cold A/C, and the radio is an HD radio with a CD player and an Aux outlet to plug your I-pod in while delivering mail. I also want to mention that the right rear floor in the cargo area has a stain in the carpet. It was there when we bought it and we never bothered trying to cleaning it. If you buy this Jeep you will not be disappointed it is clean, in great shape and will last you for a long time as long as you take care of it. PA state inspection is still good until 7/11 if it does not sell by then I will have it re-inspected. If you have questions feel free to e-mail me. If your the winner within 48 hours of the auction ending $1000.00 is to be sent to me either via paypal or by US Postal Money order. I will not accept payment greater than $1000 in my paypal account as the fees are too much (sorry). The rest of the money is due either in cash or by check or money order on or before the time you pick up the vehicle. I will not accept a personal or business check the day you come to pick it up. If you want to pay by check then make sure you send it to me with enough time to clear the bank before pick-up. If for some reason you would decide you don't want the vehicle when you would come to get it your money would be returned to you minus $500.00 and any fees i.e. paypal fee. I am not looking to rip you off I just want to make sure I am protected as well.
