1977 VW Beetle Convertable Karmann Edtion in tripple white. This classic bug has 66k original miles and is in excellent condition. It is about as stock as they come from the original Blaupunkt AM radio to under the hood to the original books/ manuals and even the original window sticker! Originally bought in the spring of 1977 by one Dr. GJ Timmer of Goldendale, Wa for his wife. He purchased it from Moore Motors Volkswagen-Alfa Romeo in Bellevue WA. This beatuful beetle remained in Goldendale it's whole life changeing hands one other time when Dr. Timmer gifted it to a woman from his chruch in the fall of 1997. The car is 99% rust free as Goldendale is in the eastern part of Washington state pretty arid over there. The interior is in great shape not really even any rips or tears in the seats as well as the headliner. The bumpers are also in great shape they do have a little chrome fade on the top nothing big really. The rest of the chrome molding on the car are near perfect. Thanks for looking! The top is BRAND NEW! and it was professionally PAINTED about a month ago it looks beautifull like it did when it was new!!!!!!! On May-05-11 at 18:06:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Rare " Champagne Edition Package" a fellow VW enthusiast pointed this out to me so I looked at the orginal window sticker and sure enough it's right on there!!On May-06-11 at 10:27:59 PDT, seller added the following information: WOW! --- After more research I discovered that in 1977 VW issued ONE " Champagne Edition" convertible to each US dealer. Approximately only 1000 total triple white S723 convertibles were sold in the United States!!! ......And this is one of them!
