Due to the tremendous response to the CL ad and lack of time to wait and meet over 70 that all wanted to meet on Monday, I have chosen to list it here on eBay as a short auction, as many of you emailed at the same time with offers above the original. 1st gen Toyota 4runner 4x4. 22rec 4cyl automatic efi. Straight axels front and rear. Rear drive shaft needs repair, universal joint replaced. I just purchased the part but have no time to repair at moment. Engine and transmission are fine. Have owned the truck since 1997 rarely if ever gave any trouble, always been a dependable workhorse. original 160+k miles on truck. Engine was rebuilt years ago, exhaust manifold replaced about two years ago. Original 4runner removable top with power rear window. That rear window power module I had rebuilt and totally sealed. Usually got 21 mpg. Truck runs fine but would need repair made to drive off. Will start the engine for you and include all the extra parts etc I have purchased/accumulated over the years including rear 1997 SR5 Split Rear Seats, Extra rims and tires and more. Includes a Smittybilt Double Tube Rear Bumper with built in hitch (not mounted) as well as a Bull Bar front type bumper. Also will leave the THULE racks mounted on top (worth $300) Truck needs tlc. You modify or do whatever you want with it. I no longer have time or space to keep it. Will sell as is. Registration paid through next year! Passed Smog less than 90 days ago, will expire May 7th, therefore would like to sell by no later than that date. Misplaced the original title at moment, but will have a REG227 Dmv form ready to transfer ownership/replace title. (Will look for original title in the meantime before doing this form). Just recently had the front brakes done, about a month ago. Unfortunately my neighborhood HOA will not allow for working on any vehicles nor do I want anyone here doing repairs.
