1994 Dodge Ram truck. My 19 year old son bought it a year ago and it needed a fuel tank strap and a gas filler tube. We got it all replaced a month ago because I was to busy to get at it. He drove the truck from our house to the dumpsters once a week and that was the extent of it. Never insured it and put it on the road. We got it all fixed this spring and I happened to get a good deal on a BMW M6, so I bought it and drove it home, now my son wants it and wants to sell his truck. So here we are. We drove it maybe all of 200 miles in the past year and had to put in a new battery this past winter. that and a fuel tank strap and a fuel filler neck is all we done to it. The truck is really rusty and we had plans on fixing it up this spring and summer but now that we have the BMW he gave the truck to me to sell and he got the beamer! The box has rust holes in it over both wheels and a dent in the rear corner of the box. inside the box is nice as it has a bed liner. The cab is in good shape but the rockers are rusted along with the door bottoms are really rusted. doors open and close easily and dont sag. Interior is in nice shape but the drivers seat is torn and the headliner is gone. Radio doesnt work and has no power to it, so it might work if I had the time to figure out what fuses it could be. We were going to put in a CD player stereo but never got the done either. The truck needs a tune up and could use some new tires. Truck has surface rust on fenders and to be quite honest its a ugly truck as it sits. We were going to get 2 new doors from the salvage yard and fix the rockers, put on either another box or a flatbed and get it sanded,primed and painted, put in a nice stereo and speakers get another seat possibly or have the tear fixed in this one and put in a new headliner.. Father son project.. Glass is all good and the AC is cold. needs a tune up probably and a oil change. This truck is sold as is and where is and runs good. I put seafoam(Injector cleaner) into the gas and it runs better, i wouldnt be afraid to take it on a trip. Looks like hell but a good runner! Engine doesnt smoke,knock or ping. would be a great truck to fix up a little and drive or just to drive back and forth to work. paid 1700.00 for it last year and put about 250.00 in parts into it. so we have about $1950.00 into it. reserve is not even close to that... just needs to go...to many vehicles sitting here. Sold to the highest bidder so bid to win and bid often. truck is located in Clinton,IL. but will drive it here (Tolono,IL) by the time your ready to come pick it up.
