The words in red were added AFTER (5-2) the original posting(5-1) which is in black Update, it took this out and drove it first time after winter (for videos) I drove it all over town, I've never had a problem with it nor any driving it around town yesterday. After driving around I left it out in the yard, today I went to pull it back in garage, it backed up 4 feet and stopped, then I pulled forward 4 feet and it stopped. I don't know what problem is (something in ring gear? Ive never owned a VW maybe some other common problem) either way i'm an honest seller and would not want to sell it knowing there might be an issue. I'm $3500 into this going to cut my losses now and put a buy it now for $1850 figure the cut can fix problem or get you a different trans. Also with the Baja I just bought, it comes with an extra trans, not sure if it is good or not (will find out today 5-2-11) if its good I can give the trans to you. Sorry extra trans was IRS one. I went a little over board buying parts and bought the axle,bearings,tie rods etc etc Just the short left side tie rod is real sloppy, but figured mine as well replace it all. The t-trailer is listed as included part because it is a Michigan modified boat trailer which I guess are not titled in Michigan has lights,hold down straps,new wheel bearings. Previous owner had dune buggy out in silver lake dunes last summer has 2010 sticker on it, seems last time it had sticker was 2003, so I am assuming it sat for awhile then someone got it back out. With the included parts, take them all, take some do as you wish with them, install them or sell. No reserve, starting price is well below what I paid for it then I purchased all those parts. $200 deposit via paypal at auction end, balance preferably cash on pickup, if you plan anything other then cash on pick up contact me before you bid, will not refund deposit.
