The Mustang fastback started life as a six cylinder but now has a 350 H.P. 1965 289 4v professionally built motor in it!The motor has ARP bolts,roller rockers,ported and polished heads,and more go fast parts!It has mid length ceramic headers with 2 1/2" pipes. The transmission is a AOD so you won't have problems with high speeds on the interstate highways and gas mileage!It has a Auburn limited slip rearend with 3.00 gear,a set of 5 leaf springs and large rear drum brakes. The front end has had the shock towers removed and high performance system installed with adjustable coil over shocks,tubular A arms,manual rack and pinion steering and disk brakes. It has had torque boxes and sub frame connectors installed.This car is a real joy to drive,I have put about 600 miles on it since it was finished in 2010. The car has no rust anywhere,it has new fenders,Dynacorn doors,quarter panels,deck lid,floor pans,torque boxes,valances,and hardware!All the vin. numbers are still on the car.As you can see this is a well built car,that can be drove and enjoyed! The interior has sound deadener installed everywhere,retractable shoulder belts in front,lap belts in back,and rest of the interior is all new and the seat foam is new.New cobra Lecarta steering wheel. And on hot days you can stay cool with the Vintage Air in dash A/C system! I had the car appraised 9/22/10 and it was valued at $42500.00 !! When the transmission was changed from the C4 to the AOD the H pipe and long tube headers could not be used! I had to change the headers to mid lenght ceramic headers and had the exhaust from the headers to the mufflers repiped but it looks just as good as before! I didn't want anyone to be surprised when they buy the car!
