Up for auction is my 1966 Shelby GT 350 tribute. The car started as a regular 289 fastback mustang, and I have added Shelby specific items. The car runs and drives like a dream. The exterior color is Wimbeldon White with Guardsman Blue stripes. The interior is blue with custom Guardsman Blue accents. The body was inspected and rust was repaired accordingly, all panels are in great shape, with no hidden rust. The frame is in excellent condition, no rust holes or soft spots, 100% solid. The interior includes, new carpet, recovered seats (front & back), the rear seat is the fold down type, rear trim panels custom painted Guardsman Blue, new door panels, and a new headliner. The engine is a recently rebuilt Mexican 302 block. The mexican blocks are basicly 289 hipo castings, therfore you can supercharge, nitrous, or throw just about any kind of mod at it without any worries. It has great power and is in excellent condition overall. Almost everything under the hood was replaced: alternator, solenoid, starter, partial wiring, battery, distributor, plug wires, belts, hoses, gas tank, and radiator. (I have the original 289 engine and will make it available if interested) The car has a new exhaust system that sounds great. The suspension and brake work included: new leaf springs, shocks (front and rear), brake lines (hard and soft), tie rods,ball joints, brake shoes, and drums. The car has all new rubber weather stripping, including windshields (front and rear), roof rail, etc. There are four new tires that ride great.
