A beautiful 1974 Karmann Ghia! A few of the high points: · 1776 cc motor · Dual Kadron carbs · TMI red and white upholstery kit installed (3 years old) · TMI grey carpet kit installed (3 years old) · Newer Khumo Ecsta AST tires (less than 6000 miles on them) · Original headliner is in very good shape · Rear brakes just serviced, brake light switch adjusted, master cylinder replaced ($560 completed last week) Recent repairs: · New steering box · New driver side floor pan-- original appeared to have rusted from the inside out · New alternator · New cooling fan · New headlight switch · New glove box compartment Reality Check: · Paint is good, but not great. A few chips here and there, some very small rust bubbles starting to appear · One piece of body side molding missing · There has been some body work, including filler on the right rear quarter panel and front right corner · Missing driver's side visor · Fuel gauge does not work The car runs and drives beautifully, is a real head turner, and is solid and dependable. This car has potential to be real show stopper with new paint. If you are in the area, feel free to contact me for inspection and test driving. Payment will be expected promptly, I will be moving in in 7 days and would like to have it at the shipping point or picked up prior to avoid paying for a power of attorney for a local friend. A $500 deposit is expected upon winning the auction or buy it now. I will include a tow bar that requires a 2 inch ball (it cost me $120) if you would like to pick it up locally, otherwise it will be shipped with the car.
