Vehicle Detail

1994 Mercedes-Benz S600 coupe. 96,000 miles. Automatic transmission. $133,775 original list price in 1994. V12 engine with 389 horsepower, 420 foot pounds of torque. Exterior: Green two-tone. Very nice overall with a new car look. No accidents. No rust - either stored or driven very sparingly in winter. Wheels/tires: Genuine AMG 18" wheels - center painted sections are excellent but polished rims need to be re-done as they have curb rash. Currently mounted with BF Goodrich 235/50/18 g-Force T/A KDWS tires, 6/32 to 8/32 of tread life remaining. Also have original 16" OEM wheels mounted with Michelin X-Ice 235/60/16 tires - they have almost no wear since they've rarely been used. Interior: Tan leather with suede headliner and other leather and wood surfaces. Virtually everything is electronically controlled, including rear-view mirror, side mirrors, rear headrests, rear sunshade, etc. Level of luxury as expected in this top-of-the line S Class. Have the original trunk-mounted 6-CD changer, but have replaced it with an interface that plays iPod through the excellent stock stereo system. Options unique to this top-of-the-line coupe include an adaptive damping system, which electronically adjusts shock absorber damping and provides automatic rear leveling. Always garaged and well maintained, with routine service by me and more complicated things done by the dealer. Synthetic fluids: Mobil 1 for engine and transmission, Red Line for rear differential. On May-04-11 at 17:58:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Adding the following information due to questions from a few people: I bought the car in 2001 with just under 40k miles on it. Here is the routine maintenance I've done myself or at the garage: Oil every 5k miles with Mobil 1 (normally 15w50 or 5w40) - last oil change at 95k miles in Dec 10. Coolant flush in Jan 02 at 42k miles and again in May 06 at 65k. Brake fluid Feb 02 (42k), July 06 (65k), May 10 (92k). Rear diff fluid in Sept 02 (45k) and Sept 07 (73k). ATF with filter in April 03 (45k) and April 10 (93k). ATF change w/o filter at 73k in April 07. Fuel filter at 45k in Oct 02. Air/charcoal/re-circulation filters in Aug 02 (45k), May 06 (65k), Aug 08 (78k) Blower motor replaced April 2008 V-Belt replaced July 2005 Front and rear brake pads/rotors October 2005 Front balls joints July 2007 Sway bar links and fuel pressure regulator March 2007 Wiring harnesses replaced in 2005 (a one-time fix due to MB "green" wiring in the mid-90s that disintegrated and needed to be replaced with normal wiring). Hydraulic suspension components replaced in April 2007 (so it now rides like a new car) Oil drips a bit onto the garage floor. No burning oil smell when driving or after driving. Never any need to add oil between changes. Engine does not use or burn any oil. On May-05-11 at 18:34:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Here's how minor the oil drip is: Yesterday, I drove the car, then removed the plastic cover beneath the oil pan and let it sit overnight and all day today. Backed the car out and looked at the garage floor: not a single drop of oil in that 24-hour period.
