You are bidding on a good running 740il. Car runs very well,I was very surprised by the mechanical condition. Engine is smooth,no lifter noise,no smoke,idles dead quiet,shifts very smooth thru all gears and has very good power on the hwy. I have a lot of experience with this 1995-01 7 series,so,I checked the vehicle pretty well. As stated above,engine and trans are rock solid,can be driven anywhere,I do not see any issues in the near future. Pcv valve is OK,no back pressure,power steering hose does not leak,car is all dry underneath with no leaks what so ever,original plastic cover is dry under the powertrain,exhaust looks great,not rusted,no leaks. A careful inspection under the hood,shows almost new water pump and radiator expansion tank,everything seems fine. Interior is clean,businessman owned,non smoker,no pet fur,no food...very clean car,all books included. Optional navigation and heated seats,DSC and power sunshade. Power options work,except right rear window,needs a regulator,cable is broken,can be heard inside. AC works fine,sunroof works,radio works,cruise control works,cup holders are intact,not broken.No phone option. After a detailed inspection and driving the car extensively,this is what I found wrong:needs tires soon,less then 30% tread left.ABS module is bad,you need to find one on ebay and replace it,ABS/DSC lights are on.One front wheel bearing(hub) is a little noisy,easy to replace,cheap,does not need replacement right away,however,I can hear it,so,I disclose it...and for some reason,ocasionally,the NAV system locks,then works,then locks again,screen works,showing the radio,and it has a damaged front fog light,see picture. Car is healthy,runs better then a low mile unit you can find,however,its old and needs some attention,priced accordingly. NO RESERVE.
