Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on my time spent driving it. The information you are about to read is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. The goal of this description is to make you feel as if you've driven and looked at this vehicle in person. Any potential bidder and/or there mechanic are more than welcome to come see any vehicle in my inventory in person and kick the tires. Just email me to arrange a time to meet at my storage facility. A $99 administrative fee will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Keeping my costs low is how I can list every auction with NO RESERVE. Please assume that your car will be due for at least routine service. All known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully. Wow! Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a remarkable 1997 Lincoln Town Car sedan. I want to get something out of the way right off the start. For some reason, the mileage reading on this car is coming up as "exceeds mechanical limits". That designation was originally instituted to protect buyers of cars with 5 digit odometers from being ripped off. A vehicle with a 5 digit odometer can only accurately record 99,999 miles until it "rolls over" and thus exceeds the mechanical limits of the cars odometer. Unfortunately, this designation is activated by one of two check boxes on Pennsylvania titles and is often checked as a result of human error. Once checked, it cannot be undone. Most modern cars, such as this one, use digital odometers that have 6 digits, not 5. In order for the odometer in a 6 digit car to exceed its mechanical limits, the car would have to be driven literally a million miles. I believe with every ounce of my being that this is truly a 30,000 mile Lincoln Town Car. The exterior is near mint, the interior is mint (and still smells like new leather), it drives like a new car and there is a PA emissions exemption sticker which is automatically given to cars driven less than 5,000 miles since its last annual inspection. All of the evidence is very clear. I want you to bid with absolute confidence. If you win the auction and find the car to be anything but what I described, not only will I release you from the transaction...I will take you out to lunch for your trouble. Walking around the outside of this gorgeous Lincoln, it's easy to see that this isn't your average Town Car. This one shines from any angle. Other than a small crack in the paint above the drivers door handle, I couldn't see a single flaw on the body of this car. In fact, I drove this car about 50 miles of mixed highway and city driving and took these photos without even washing it! The paint shines like new, the chrome shines like new and the carriage top is in near perfect condition (only one loose seam). All of the glass is in tact. The headlights are crystal clear. The alloy wheels are beautifull and wrapped in a matching set of tires with plenty of tread left. This is the last year for the this body style in the Town Car and represents the end of an era for these cars as far as I'm concerned. There are low mile Town Cars still around but they are getting very hard to find. The interior of this Town Car is just as impressive at the exterior. Like I said, this car still smells like a brand new car inside. The leather seats are in perfect condition. The carpets and headliner show almost no wear at all. The door panels are all tight. All of the wood trim and chrome buttons on each door are in perfect condition. All three ash trays look to have never been used. The original stereo system sounds perfect. The automatic climate control works like it should. All of the interior and exterior lighting works as it should (no known electrical issues). Pride in ownership is a gross understatement here. The trunk is clean and comes with a complete emergency kit (flares, fire extinguisher, ect...). The automatic trunk closer works perfectly. I've had several Lincolns and this is the nicest one I've seen...period. You get both original keys and two remotes. Mechanically, this beauty is all there. The powerfull 4.6L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I could find no leaks. During my time driving this car, it behaved very well. The big V8 makes plenty of power. Accellerating to highway speed is effortless. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there were no warning lights on. I averaged 19mpg while driving around running errands in it today. At highway speeds, she tracks strait as an arrow. The steering is responsive as it should be and the brakes stop the car without noise or pulsation in the pedal. The suspension is very composed as it should be. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts are so smooth, you would not know it was shifting if you weren't paying attention. As far as these cars go, this is about as good as it gets. Please bid with complete confidence. This is a "no excuses", "no stories" car. Although it is probably the closest to flawless as you will get, it is still a 1997 so judge it accordingly. Thank you very much for looking at my auction and good luck bidding.
