SquareTrade © AP6.0 redgeminipa Store 1946 Chevrolet Truck Custom Hot Rod I'm listing this truck for my uncle. I don't know too much about it, but I will tell you what I know. There's over $22,000 invested. Many receipts from the previous owner/restorer, as well as some for the work my uncle had done. Engine: 283ci bored 40 over, new Holley 4 barrel carb, Accell wires, 3-speed automatic on the column, dual exhaust with chrome tips. WIDE Mickey Thompsons on the back. It's been sitting for well over a year in a garage. I got it running, but I'm still working on having the carburetor cleaned and adjusted. As of right now it's running rough. I can't promise I'll have it fixed before the sale ends, but I'm trying. If I do get it ironed out, I'll post an update. UPDATE: The carb is cleaned. It's running much better, but still needs adjusted. The paint is House of Kolors, both pearl - both cans are in it to match colors. It has some minor scratches and chips, and a few very minor spots of surface rust/blisters. The blisters may just be the paint rising. I'm not poking them to find out. Front fenders are steel, rear fenders and running boards are fiberglass. The wooden bed will need redone. You may get away with refinishing the oak that's in it. The oak looks solid from underneath. The wooden shim at the front right of the bed needs fixed, as well as the trim panel that fills the gap between the bed and running board. I may be able to get that taken care of soon, but I can't promise it will be done before the sale ends. UPDATE: The trim panel and shim for the bed are finished. Front disc brakes, rear drums - rear end is from a Chevy S-10. I believe it has Mustang front suspension, but I'm not 100% sure. The headlights are not currently working. I think it could be a worn wire that grounded, but I haven't check into it. The turn signals do work. It has the old-style electric horn. LED 3rd brake light inside the back window. It has a CD stereo with 4 speakers. It's a beautiful truck with tons of potential. It needs some minor work to make it great. My uncle no longer has the time to invest into it, and it deserves someone who does.
