This 1962 Porsche 356B is being sold for the first time since undergoing a full, ground-up restoration. The restoration was completed in 2008 through a collaboration of Panelwerks, Sports Car Factory, Restoration Design and Stoddard that took over 16 months at a cost of over $50,000.00. The Body # is 118250, Engine # is 611017 and Gearbox # is 61507. All efforts were made to use original porsche parts with little to no deviation from the original with one exception, the installation of an ipod and amplifier audio system that can easily tuck under the dash for showing. Make no mistakes, although this award winning car is spectacular to see it is even more exciting to drive. There are absolutely, unequovically no issues with this car, engine or gearbox. First, tts been pointed out that the word "unequivocally" is misspelled in the listing, the odometer reads 7,391, and the engine oil used exclusively in this Porsche is Swepco 306, the only oil I recommend for any 356.
