Vehicle Detail

This is a heck of a nice muscle car that I've owned and driven only to car shows and maybe a few drives in the country for about 6 years now. There is NO RESERVE PRICE on this auction. I need to sell it becasue I'm starting a small business and need the money to help stock my inventory. It runs great, sounds great, looks great and doesn't smoke or have any mechanical problems that I'm aware of. This is a modified 1969 Mustang Fastback that has been made as a tribute into a Boss Mustang and has a 460 Stroker Big block V-8 engine (stroked to 514cid) squeezed under the hood. It has an Edelbrock 750 cfm 4bbl performer series double pumper carburetor and an Extreme High-Flow air cleaner/filter. The motor is putting out around 600hp with 575ft.lbs of torque at 4500 rpm, 11:1 compression with Speed Pro forged pistons and has a 302HO6 Energizer Crane Performance Cam and a custom built super sounding Turbo-2 exhaust system. The Transmission is a C-6 Automatic with a Cobra shifter; it has a 3600 stall converter, a stout 9" positive traction rear end and 4:30 gears. It has power steering, disc brakes, a 140 amp alternator, a super sounding CD/DVD entertainment system and has 2004 factory Mach-1 (Magnum 500 style) 17 inch wheels with nearly new tires. Paint is clear coated Grabber Orange & Flat Black with a Boss 302 style reflective stripe kit, a pair of "Twister Special" rear fender decals, 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500-KR Cobra grill and fender emblems, new pony roof ornaments, new rear louver, new hood tach (wiring hasn't been hooked up for tach yet), and a new Boss 429 style hood scoop. The heater, wipers, lights and all electrical stuff works great and the interior is mostly new and has a vicious King Cobra sitting in the rear dash. It also has a full tank of gas and I just had it inspected at a certified Mississippi State inspection station and it passed with no problems. It also comes with a full size spare tire with a matching 2004 mach-1 wheel. This car with this motor has never been raced or timed on the track, but using an ET Calculator which calculates approximate quarter mile time from elapsed time from wheel horsepower and weight, it registered a 10.2 second 1/4 mile time at 142 mph, and was estimated at an approximate top end speed of 196 mph. I have only used this car as a show car (driving it to car shows so it's not a trailor queen) and have won over 20 trophies ranging from 3rd place to Best in Show. As I said if not for starting up my business in August there is no way I would part with it. I'm trying to pay for everything as I go so my expenses will be low and I will have a better chance of succeeding in my business, and with the help of God and my family I'm sure everything will work out fine. A $500 deposit via PayPal is required within 24hrs of auction end and the remainder of the selling price can be made upon pick up of the car and title by you or your representitive, no personal checks please, cash is preferred but a cashiers check from your bank will be accepted after check verification. You can pick up the car or make arrangements to have the car shipped and I will assist whoever picks up the car for you. You will have 14 days to complete the transaction after the auction closes, so that will give you plenty of time to make shipping or pick-up arrangements. I have posted all of the pictures that I can get on my computer that I have and I have described the car as accurately as I can and to the best of my ability. Thank you for looking. On Mar-27-11 at 09:45:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Car also has front disc brakes (not the old drum style) and an upgraded suspension, shocks, ball joints etc, to handle the extra horse power. Also the underside of the car is in extremely great shape as well and the car has been rust free since I purchased it and as far as I can tell that is still the case. It has been very well kept in in my garage under a car cover ever since I've owned it and have $60,000.00 worth of insurance through Grundy Insurance Company.
