You are bidding on a no reserve1969 Ford Fairlane GT Grand Torino Cobra Jet 428 ram air C6 auto trans, totally rust free R code car. This Cobra Jet car was bought new in LA California and it still has the original black plates and the dealer plates still on the car. This Cobra Jet car is all original and has NO rust anywhere on the car. The undercarriage is super clean the body and paint has some scratches but is still very nice this car sat in a garage for the last 27 years and is the cleanest Cobra jet car that has not been messed with. The interior is just about perfect except for the carpet, the head liner is nice and the door panels are very nice and the front and back seats have no rips and are in great shape, the dash is perfect with no cracks and all the gauges are perfect, the package tray is very nice also, The trunk is about perfect and the car has all the original stickers on the trunk and in the glove box. The interior only needs a carpet kit and it will look brand new. The body on the Cobra Jet has all the original panels and not a spot of rust anywhere and the car has no dents so what you see is what you get nothing hiding on this car i also took a magnet to the car and it has no bondo either. Now for the motor it is original to the car but the guy that owned the car for the last 35 years started to take the motor out so he took out the AC condenser, brake booster, carburetor and air cleaner, radiator so all that is missing on the car. It does have front power disc brakes with front sway bar, 9" rear end with bucket seats column shift and a 8 track, functional ram air hood, dual exhaust and it is a original candy red paint with black interior so it is a good color combo. This is the King of fords and this car is a very light resto the front and rear bumper are perfect and so is all the glass and some of the stainless has some dings. The wheel lip moldings are perfect. All this car needs is a carpet kit and very light body and paint and I would rebuild the motor and trans and that is it and you will have to find a couple of pieces in the engine compartment but this is a very easy car and they are worth a tone of money when they are done.
