Original survivor Cobra, this car has not been restored, it is original with 62k miles. It is a very well kept car that we bought from the original owners. I did not repaint the car so you can see clearly the sunfade areas around the top of headlights and drivers mirror. Original and unmolested motor with the upgrade of new radiator and new code compliant freon for ice cold ac. These are only the second set of tires on the car, they have plenty of tread but are old and should be replaced just do to age. Everything else on the car is also original to the car, very reliable and dependable car. This is 1 of the 477 black on black Colbras produced in 93. Ford's 5.0L engine used in the GT Mustang had undergone many modifications by the time that it was being fit into the Cobras. Among these changes were higher-performance GT-40 cylinder heads, larger valves, and a stouter camshaft. The same Borg-Warner T-5 transmission found on the GT was used for the Cobras, except it came with phosphate-coated gears as well as stronger bearings. Also on the Cobra were rear vented disc brakes instead of the standard drum brakes. It is rated 0-60 MPH in 5.4 seconds and has a 14.5 second ¼ mile time and still has an estimated 17 city / 24 hwy MPG rating! By comparison, the GT has a 0-to-60 mph time of 7.9 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 15.9 seconds. The shiny black exterior has been very well maintained and cared. It is free from any major dents, dings, scratches or scrapes and shows only the normal wear that you should expect from a ’93 with 63k original miles. The alloy wheels are super clean and well kept just as you would expect. The seats are free from rips or tears, (although there is wear on the drivers side bolster, (see pic) the carpet is not stained and the dash is not cracked or broken. This Cobra is equipped with power windows / mirrors / locks / driver seat, fog lamps, rear defroster, A/C, AM/FM stereo (inop), center arm rest, floormats, rear cargo area cover, leather wrapped wheel, driver air bag, dual vanity mirrors with lights, rear wing, dual exhaust, perfect clear clean glass.
