I have for sale a 1978 vw super beetle convertable, I purchased this beetle with the intent to fix it and i dont have enough time the body on this car is actually in good shape for being a New York car. The top is in good shape along with the head liner with one small tear 1 inch around in the right rear corner, the interior is in good shape no visable tears, there is a couple of rust holes uder the rear seats in the bottom wheel wells the floors are pretty solid and only a little bit of door sag on drivers side. I was going to do a pan off resto on the bug becouse the brake lines are rotted off but the emergency brakes work, and i was going to replace the floors the engine is a new motor from canada with about 2000 miles on it , the guy who I bought it from purchased the engine from there, the only other thing I know wrong with the car is the dual relay, the car runs great but you have to bypass the dual in order to keep it running. I was going to give this car to my daughter for her 16th b-day put she liked something else so its gotta go thanks for looking and good luck bidding Jon
