You are looking at a 2000 ford explorer XLT, with power windows, power locks, a 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, and many more options. Comes in a nice color combination of a shiny, blue exterior paint over a gray cloth interior. Tires are about 70%, and the brakes seem ok. The engine sounds smooth, but it sounds like it is going to need ball joints/bearings on the front. The transmission seems good and four wheel drive works great. It got me through everything NJ threw at us the last two winters! NJ state inspection until 12/12! The truck needs some TLC and electrical work, hence the low, low price for an Explorer with only 108,000 miles. Electrical issues with the power locks (common with this era Explorers), rear wiper, mirrors and CD player. Some minor dings and paintwork problems as shown in pictures. Otherwise this truck is a good looking and strong vehicle and great value, similar mileage Explorers go for $3,000 to $4,000.
