Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1971 GMC 2WD Short Wheel base truck. I'll start from the bottom and go up. The truck has received a frame off resto. The frame has been stripped and painted (airgun) and the wear areas undercoated. The suspension is a sway arm set up, and has a 3-5 drop, front to back respectively. The stance of this truck is awesome. It has 16 inch American Alloy polished aluminum rims wrapped in brand new low pro tires. The drivetrain is in excellent shape, and everything works perfectly. The engine is a 305 ci that has been warmed over. The upgrades to the engine include a full gasket overhaul, Edelbrock performer RPM high rise dual plane intake, Holley Street Avenger carb, Accel hypercoil ignition coil, MSD superconductor plug wires, K&N air filter, Dynatech headers, new alternator, battery, electric cooling fan, and valve seals. The transmission is a TH 350 that shifts crisp and smooth. I owned the truck that the trans came out of, and have never had a problem with it. The body has been worked over, painted a light silver, and a sportside bed from a 91 chevy has been installed. A hinged soft tonneau cover that opens like a hard cover tops the bed off. The grille has been shaved thinner and stainless mesh has been added in background. All emblems and badges have been shaved, including the door handle indentions, and a fiberglass roll pan is on the bed. A custom roll pan was fabricated for the front. The body is solid and I would rate the body work at a 9 out of 10. The interior has been fitted out in buckets from an older model oldsmobile seats (doesn't sound good but it looks good) 5 point harness, and a custom console. The console houses a B&M Z-gate shifter, a Pioneer 4 Channel stereo with CD player, gauges and a push button starter button (only works with the key). There is a 6 inch speaker in each door, and two 6x9 inch speakers in the rear of the console. The floor is covered in rubberized undercoating covered in light gray carpet. The seats are burgundy, and the console and dash pad is wrapped in burgundy and light gray vinyl. An autometer 5 inch tach with shift light lives on the A pillar. The interior is clean and well put together. I moved the gas tank that used to be in the cab to a 16 gallon plastic Summit Racing fuel cell between the rear frame rails with a filler neck inside the bed, for peace of mind. The vinyl headliner matches the rest of the interior. I really hate to sell her, but I have a new baby in the new house, so the toy era is over. My loss, is big time your gain. This restoration has cost around $9500, excluding working hours. She's a real head-turner, and you could be the one turning heads! Thanks for checkin er' out!
