Very nice original 1997 Geo Metro. I don't have to tell you how good on Gas these are and they are very dependable and parts are cheap. This is my second Geo, my first was a 3cyl 5 speed and was ok unless you want to take off faster than a cement mixer pulling a trailer. With the a/c on the 3 cyl was terrible in traffic, ok on highway. This Geo for sale is the 1.3 Four cylinder with automatic transmission. Way more power and fun to drive. And, because it's only .3 bigger engine it still gets fantastic fuel mileage. I purchased this to pull behind my motor home but plans have changed. This is a completely Rust Free Geo that was owned by older people and kept in a garage. They took very good care of it ; Brand new tires New axles and boots New water pump , hose and radiator cap. Regular oil and filter change. I was told timming belt was replaced but have no proof of it. Nice Sony flip face remote cd player Factory manual, spare and jack. When I purchased the car the a/c was not working due to no belt and tensioner pulley. I had a guy install a new Napa a/c belt and pulley . The a/c is now ice cold without having to add any freon showing me the system did not leak. I also had the Transmission drained, new filter and gasket with AMSOIL FULL SYNTHETIC TRANSMISSION FLUID ,THE BEST YOU CAN BUY. The blower fan inside runs on high only and shuts off when lowered. This is fine for me seeing I run it on high anyway in Florida 150 degree heat, but it will freeze you. I was told it is a relay or fuse . The interior is very clean for a Geo , they usually get trashed. The paint is showing age from sun fading , clearcoat on roof, has it's share of parking lot dings and a few small dents (hood) etc, but remember this has no rust never in salt. I would drive this car anywhere anytime. I know people who want to go green, pay huge money for battery cars, sticking gas pedal cars, lots of electronics to break etc. Geo had fuel mileage and dependability figured out years ago, thats why they ended them. Only bid if serious, ask questions, car must be picked up in 25 days , Cash , Postal Money Orders only. Clear Florida Title in my name. Will be signed over to new owner before car leaves. No open Titles.
