I purchased in 1987, the car has been stored in the garage since 1989. It was running strong at the time it was put away. The body tag shows trim-420, paint- 930. VIN tag shows date of manufacture 9/69. Some body damage to right rear and right quarter panel from being struck from behind. Aetna's adjuster's report dated 7/87 is in the amount $1,631.46. Apparently there was no structural damage. I bought this car and kept it as a retirement project. My situation has changed and I need to let this great car go. The engine serial number does not match the car, but it is a correct small block 350 c.u. Corvette Engine. 350 Horsepower, 4 speed manual transmission. The car has not been started since sometime in 1989 and I have just moved it out under the carport from the garage. I bought the car with 74,349 miles and discovered after the purchase the odometer did not clock miles; so the actual mileage of the car is unknown. The leather seats are in fair condition with no tears or rotting, the plastic console and trim pieces have deteriorated and require replacement. I bought the car reasonably from a guy who was forced to sell it as he was going through a divorce. I couldn't bring the car back to the condition it deserved to be in then, so I kept it and planned to have it as a retirement project. Car has factory air & "Astro Ventilitation" I have the bows only for a soft top. As with all auto purchases an inspection by the potential buyer is suggested and you may want to have a professional inspection, if desired. The car is sold where is, as is. It is complete except for the body damage at the rear. Buyer will arrange transportation or shipping.
