Vehicle Detail

Up for Sale is my 1967 Thunderbird 2 door landau hardtop. This car is all original, and is still sporting its green paint, ivy gold interior, and most importantly, the rare Q code 428 cid engine! Options include AC, PS, PB, PW, Power Seats, and 8 track tape player. Condition The car is in great condition considering its age. It was running up until last summer. The car currently has an electrical problem and won't start, which I believe is a bad ignition switch. The car would also need a carburetor tune, and probably some brake work to be roadworthy. The car is completely original, with the exception of a holley carb and glass pack dual exhaust. I do have the original carb in the trunk. Most of the gauges work, and the power driver's seat works as well. I believe the heater core also needs replacement. Bodywise, the car is in excellent shape. It has always been an Atlanta car, and was originally sold here according to its DSO code. It is absolutely solid and complete - with the exception of a small hole where the heater core leaked, and some minor damage to the passenger rear quarter (see pic). Fortunately, rear quarters are one of the few panels that are actually being reproduced for this car. Sale and Shipping The car is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties stated or implied. The buyer must handle all shipping, but I will assist with arrangements all I can. The car will be sold with a bill of sale only, but the car does have a current registration. I also have records on the car going back almost 20 years. Please don't bid if you dont' intend to or can't buy. If you have questions please ask. I hate to sell this car but I am in a financial jam and must sell. It wouldn't take much to get this car back on the road again. The auction reserve is low, and well below what these cars are worth. If you know these cars, then you know how fun they are to drive, how rare they are, especially tudor's with the 428, and also the fact that they are grossly undervalued. The car is also being sold as mileage exempt.
