Vehicle Detail
1989 Mercedes Benz 300 E 6 cyl gas engine, Power seats, windows, locks, mirrors, headrests, & moonroof. As you can See body is starting to rust in spots. It has a ton of miles but as you know Mercedes quality makes this a bargain. I have the service records for it. I’ve owned it for about a year. I travel with my job out of state and no longer need transportation in Buffalo. SO get yourself a car cheap. Sure there are some miles on it. Driven just 16,000 miles per year. Just Hit 340,000 Always reliable for me. Here’s the issues I know about: Needs a windshield($204) Right rear power window inoperable. A/c might need a re-charge. Oil change SRS(airbag light) stays on. I assume airbag doesnt work. Power mirror on drivers side inoperable (have to move it manually) all lights work fine the A?C units was converted to R134a in 2007. Might need a recharge can't remember if it was blowing cold. It's been so long since it was 70 degrees in Bflo. tires all look good and passable. Had tranny serviced 1000 miles ago. The interior is pleather(plasticvinyl) it is in perfect condition. no rips tears or stains. just startng to rust. floors are solid. trunk is dry. It's been sitting in my driveway for the last 60 days while i was out of town. I went to move it yesterday and something popped in the brake pedal, I assume it's the line. I assume it might have rusted...anyway there was brake fluid dripping from the right rear wheel. I didn't investigate any further. The master cylinder looks like it is new or replaced, and the lines at the master cylinder look new as well. Before the brake line happened i drove it to the gas station and it stalled at a stop light. Never done that before. When i went to restart it, it wouldn't. i Pushed it to the side of the road and continued to try and start it for the next few mintues. It didn't . So i called the tow truck...took 45 mins for the tow truck. about 30 mintues later it started back immediately, so I drove it home and had no further issues. I told my brother about it he said it could be a fuel pump going bad. he said sometimes they act like that and then just go bad. SO might need work . ANYWAY this car in a mechanics hands can be an easy fix. The engine still has plenty of life in it. IT'S A MERCEDES BENZ. I have a clean clear title. I'll put more pics up tomorrow. You could Part this car out and make plenty. I dont have the time. I've tried to detail what i know about the car. It's a great buy for someone No u really shouldn't drive it anywhere without fixing the brake line....tow it! The vehicle is in pendleton, NY about 18 miles from Buffalo the reserve is $550.
