Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on this beautiful 2004 Cadillac CTS-V with the manual 6-speed shift , 400HP Corvette LS6 engine(engine is amazing!!! 185 mph top gear), black with tan interior, navigation, 8-speaker Bose stereo, traction control, stabiltrak, among lots of other features. It also has, xenon headlights, 4 door, seats 5, large trunk, ABS… This car is amazing and in good shape. The exterior is in good condition, interior is in good condition, and the vehicle overall has been treated very well, garaged, runs and drives great, you will not believe the power under the hood and out on the road. Simply put, - a beautiful car. I always get compliments driving this car around town. The car has been in storage all winter long, I have taken it out 1 time, two weeks ago to take pics. I am the third owner of this car. My boss bought it off E-bay last May (2010) from a travelling salesman (hence the high miles, see pics) Boss-man bought it to make sure he liked the CTS-V because he had never heard of a stick-shift Cadi!!! Once he fell in love with this, he bought another with lower miles and needed to get rid of the one I am putting up for sale… After I test drove it, I was like a kid in a candy store.! This car is amazing! The serious power and extreme handling make this car very fun to drive and it is quicker than just about anything else on the road!. Anyway, I bought the car in June with the intention of hanging on to it for a very long time but I have too many other vehicles. The Pluses: 1. The inside of the car still smells new, the original owner must not have been a smoker (both my boss and I are not also) It really does have the new car smell to it. 2. I only drove the car once on a trip to Cleveland (about 3.5 hour drive,) drove it occasionally on weekends last summer (2010) and into Fall, and rarely during the week. 3. The car has been in storage all winter long, took it out for pictures two weeks ago on the first nice and warm weekend. (It started right up) 4. The car is truly amazing and a even though I did not drive it regularly, I have received many compliments when I did. I hope someone out there would like to buy it and treat it nicely for a very long time like I had intended, it is a wonderful car and with some TLC it will back to perfect condition. I have set a reserve low enough that there is still breathing room for a real bargain to be had. Issues : 1. New tires, as there is very little tread left on the current tires. I had the car worked on last July, at that time, I had the service tech swap the front tires to the rear and the rears to the front because there was more tread on the fronts. Now, since then, there is a shimmy around 40-48 MPH. I was told the tires were “cupped” . 2. At the same service last July, I had the right front headlight changed out and now the left side needs replaced. Although, I have driven it with the brights at night, this has worked fine for me, the brights look like the headlights. 3. The interior of the car does have some minor blemished (light staining in the back seat and light wear on the fronts. 4. The front of the car has some minor chipping from all of those highway miles, but nothing serious. In the pictures, I am pointing out a ding in the drivers side door also. 5. 3.The last minor issue with the car is that the Stabilitrak pops on randomly. Sometimes for no reason at all. I was told there is a chip that controls this and that it doesn’t hurt anything, but it can be annoying as the on-board computer tells you every time Stabilitrak is engaged. There is a button in the glove box that turns off the feature but after several days, it will pop back on. So, this is it, I wanted to tell everything I could think of that is positive and negative about the car to make this experience as positive as possible for potential winning bidders. I hope that someone will buy and be very happy with this vehicle. I am looking for pick-up only, cash transaction or if financing would need to be present during closing of your loan. (my bank requires this) Thank you and happy bidding!!!!!
