1984 - 300ZX Anniversary Edition 190,000 Miles *PROJECT CAR/PARTS CAR* Item is located in Elkins, WV I am will do my best to list everything that I am aware of with this car, if you have additional questions please feel free to message me. I want you to know what you are potentially buying. I want to make this clear that this is very much a project car. While I am listing most of the issues below, I have used it sparingly (in good weather) as a daily driver. The lack of AC etc. makes this less than ideal however. The car was purchased as in California, where I daily drove it for well over a year. It was meant to be a project, however as I have a 240z/280ZXR I was really never able to focus on this car. I took a job on the east coast, and took it out here with me. I have driven it likely less than 1K miles in the two years that it has been out here. The winters have not been kind to her, I would love to see someone pick it up as a project, if not she has a date with the scrap yard. If there are any additional questions, please feel free to ask. Car Notes: Electrical Problems: Z31's are known for there electrical issues, this car is no exception. Climate Control's do not work (these are computer controlled) AC was recharged about 2 years ago, as the controls no longer work I am not certain that it works any longer Heater no longer works per the Computer issues Alarm: Pulled fuse - this will drain the battery if it sets for several days Stereo - there is no stereo/speakers Dash - the dash gauge cluster does not light (on startup) until you give it some gas I have seen this go out while driving, in the past, however I have changed the controller CPU once and I have not seen it sense...this may still be an issue Parking brake light seems to come on and stay on There may be other issues, this is a 1984 car, the harness has not aged well. Other Problems Hood - needs lift lift shocks, the mounts may be broken Tail Gate - lift shock mounts are broken Interior needs work (see images) someone hit the rear driver side corner panel (hit and run), it was at this point that I gave up on restoring this car there are some rust spots that are showing up, I took pictures of the areas I am aware of needs suspension the in dash compas does not seem to work properly Good Notes Car does start up, turbo spools nicely stainless steel brake/clutch lines Upgraded Alternator from a maxima I changed quite a few of the engines control mechanisms AFM/Plugs/Spark Plug wires/distributor/AAC, this was around 2 years ago - car has sat since then/ Turbo/Injectors were rebuilt (as I am told from previous owner) just prior to me purchasing it. I estimate 20K on them based on this Brakes are new (10K) - because it has sat they appear to be rubbing a bit (I am assuming rust)
