This is a NO RESERVE auction. Vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder!!! 1969 Corvette Stingray 350/300hp 4 bolt main motor (not numbers matching - early 1970's block) with 4-speed Muncie transmission (reverse lock-out factory shifter) and 3:55 posi-traction rear axle. This is a complete and running California vehicle that needs a fairly significant amount of body work, paint and general restoration as seen in the photos. Vehicle frame is straight with no rust. Car has just under 100,000 original miles and is currently registered until July 2011 with clean title. Car has not been driven regularly and has been in dry storage for the past 25+ years. Options include side-exhaust, power windows (which need some work as neither side currently goes up or down, however window motors appear to be working), tilt-telescopic steering wheel, factory alarm (works), air-conditioning with Astro Ventilation window glass (all A/C components are present, however, needs re-charging/servicing), power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, T-Tops and fold-out rear window. Car has original saddle colored interior, which is unrestored and what I consider to be in fair condition for its age with wear showing on the carpet. Passenger side head-rest shows some damage on corner. Body exterior was originally painted Riverside Gold, however, is presently stripped to bare fiberglass and will need fiberglass body repairs primarily at the rear section of vehicle including quarter panel and front fender areas along with new gel-coat and paint (see photos for bodywork detail). All gauges/electrical with the exception of the clock operate well and appear to be in very good condition. Vacuum headlights and windshield washer panel open and close (wipers work fine). All exterior lighting (including back-up lights and fiber optics) work fine. 15x8 Corvette Rally wheels, center caps and beauty rings with P235 60-15 tires in good condition. Car has recently received rebuilt rochester carburetor (needs choke set-up and adjusting), new gel-cell hi-torq battery, new gas tank & sender switch, 4 rebuilt brake calipers and master cylinder. Distributor is factory original Corvette tach-drive, which has been upgraded with ignitor (no points) system for improved reliability. Car has AM/FM-Cassette stereo that operates fine. Car sounds and runs good, but needs fine-tuning adjustments and should be thoroughly gone through before driving long-distance. Full payment due within 7 days of auction end.
