Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the overhead expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a car on ebay, I personally test drive each one so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based completely on my time spent behind the wheel and my physical observations about the car. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and am not qualified to make any statements other than my observations. Any potential buyer is welcome to come inspect any car in my inventory. Just email me and we can set a time to meet at my warehouse that suits both of us. I am happy to answer questions about the car, too. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Remember, you are buying wholesale direct with NO RESERVE. Unless otherwise stated, I do not service any vehicle. Please assume that any vehicle purchased will be in need of routine service. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Lincoln Continental. This one comes finished in unique color that you don't see many of. I am not sure what its proper name is but it's almost a lilac color but can look also like a plum or even gray depending on light. I would rate the exterior of this Lincoln as AVERAGE for a car of this age. There is some fading of the paint on the parts that get the most direct sunlight as shown in the photos. There is also a dent on the bottom of the passengers side rear door and a noticable scrape over the right rear fender. Overall, this isn't a bad looking vehicle but it is nowhere near perfect. The glass is all in tact. The alloy wheels are in good shape and the rubber is nice and deep all the way around. The interior of this Continental is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The door panels are all in tact and in great shape. All of the buttons are present and functioning properly. All of the seats are in near perfect condition and are very supple and comfortable. The carpets and headliner are also in great condition, too. The automatic climate control works properly and the air conditioning is ICE COLD. The stereo has been upgraded to a CD player that also has an iPod interface. The stereo system sounds great. The only thing bad I can say about the interior is that the drivers window appears to be off the track. It will go up and down all the way but the rear goes up faster than the front and sometimes needs to be held with your hand. I see this frequently and isn't the end of the world to fix. Otherwise, nothing bad to say about the inside. It looks great, smells great and is a very comfortable car to drive. Mechanically, she is in pretty good condition. The powerfull 32V engine starts right up and purrs like a kitten. The engine compartment is super clean and there are no signs of any leaks. During my test drive, the engine held perfect operating temperature and there were no warning lights or messages. I believe this car will need new ball joints. When going over rough surfaces, you can feel that the front end is a little loose. On the highway, this Lincoln drives strait as an arrow. Highway speeds are achieved without breaking a sweat and there is no pulling or vibration. The steering feels good and the brakes are strong. At speeds below 25mph, you can feel nodulation in the brake pedal like when the ABS takes over. It doesn't seem to affect braking and there are no warning lights on so I am not sure what exactly to make of that...and it's only below 25. Maybe a bad wheel speed sensor (but I thought that would trip the ABS light). The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The transmission does not slip. The best part of this car is the miles! With under 90,000 miles on the odometer, this would make a great car for someone who wants something comfortable and at home on the highway that won't break the bank. She runs down the highway at 80mph like it's nothing. With a few bucks worth of nickel and dime repairs, you can have a great highway cruiser that will last and last. If you are local, I can recommend a shop for service. My mechanic is very reasonable and won't try to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge when all you need is an oil change. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
