This vehicle is also equipped with heated seats, and has Tiptronic transmission. This means you can shift your automatic transmission manually. You may want to control your RPMs to increase your gas mileage. Also has "S" or sporty transmission choice, which simply shifts the transmission automatically at a higher RPM for more speed. This mode dramatically decreases your gas mileage. We also purchased an extended warranty which is transferable to the next owner. This warranty is administered by Fidelity Warranty Services through our VW dealer. We purchased it for 6 years or 85,000 miles, which leaves about 4 years or 45,000 remaining. We have not used the warranty for any repairs, as we have not had any mechanical trouble with this vehicle. We bought 4 new tires just over a year ago.
