Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over retail by eliminating most of the expenses that the bigger dealers pass down to you. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally test drive it so that I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based completely on my time behind the wheel and my personal observations. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic and am not qualified to make any statements other than my observations about the car. I encourage pre-bidding inspections by yourself or your mechanic if possible. I will promptly and honestly answer any questions to the best of my ability. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Keep in mind that you are buying wholesale direct with NO RESERVE. I do not service or inspect any vehicle unless otherwise noted. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited Edition 4x4. It was black at one point, I believe. It is currently in primer mostly. The good news is that I didn't see any rust which is odd for a Jeep this old. All of the glass is good. The Limited Edition black mesh wheels are all in great condition and the tires have plenty of tread left which is also a plus. It is no secret that this truck is not pretty. The body looks solid and would be a good foundation. There aren't really any dents either. I cheap paint job would really make this truck look great. The interior is okay. The door panels are all in good shape and all of the switches work. The leather seats are also in decent shape. There are no noticable rips or holes in the seats. They are all comfortable and supportive and look good for the year and miles. The carpets are in decent shape, too. The headliner is coming down. The radio works and the heater works. The A/C is inoperable. The power seats work. Nothing much to say... Mechanically, this Jeep has seen better days. The word "tow" written on the back window has nothing to do with the mechanical condition of the vehicle. If you leave a car up at auction too long they will tow it, hence the date and then the word "tow". I just wanted to avoid a hundred questions or wrong assumptions about that...although I will still probably get more than a dozen emails about it. The reliable 4.0L engine starts right up but has a tap in the top end. It seems to make good power and runs strong. The automatic transmission has an issue. If you put it in drive, it seems to not go. If you start in low gear and shift manually, it drives fine. The 4wd works, too. The Limited has the option for full time AWD in addition to part time high and low range. This Jeep actually drives well. The suspension is tight and the steering is light and responsive which is unusual for these. The brakes are a little soft but stop the truck without issue. At highway speed, it drives strait with no vibrations. This would make an excellent hunting vehicle, project truck or second vehicle to have a 4x4 for winters. It should be able to be driven home but I make no promises. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
