1965 K20 Factory 4X4 I Bought this truck last fall with the intentions of fixing up. It didn't run well and the master cylinder wouldn't work. I trailered the truck home, rebuilt the carburator, new master cylinder, new distributor, cap, rotor, plugs and wires.The truck started up and runs pretty good, The motor is a 283 with a two barrel carb. The right front locker would not work, I replace them with Milemarker lockers, drove the truck in four wheel drive, everything works. The body is ruff has some rust spot in the cab. All the glass is intact with no cracks. The dash looks like it's intact and all the gauges work. The bed has been replaced with a still plate where you can see that they towed a fith wheel.The drive line needs to taken apart and completly gone through. There is a noise when you get into fourth gear, high pitched and loud. Transfer case shits okay. This truck is one of about 1600 that were built in 1965. Chevy produced them as a two wheel drive truck and then had Napco install the four wheel drive kit. they are considered factory 4X4.
