I've got a 1979 f150 sitting on a 1977 frame. Its a good running reliable truck. Does have some rust but not rusted out. The wheel wells have rusted through. Its not a pretty truck but its solid and runs and drives great never left me stranded. Its a inline 6cyl with a 4 speed manual transmission shifts good. Does leak a bit out of the valve cover. Has powersteering! The interior isnt that bad. Doesent have a radio hooked up right now! Has push button start.clutch it strong. Has about 13 inches of lift both body and suspention Done right.Tires are 40 inch mud kings i believe. The back tires are 30 40 percent the front prolly like 25 30 percent. I drive it basicly everyday has some play in the steering it needs a new tierod end. and the front axle needs replaced it blew out the top but it dosent effect the driving. Itl still go up to the doors in 2 wheel drive. The truck does need work like iv stated but it runs good and drives. with a couple hundred bucks itd be a nice truck. I dont have room for it and im getting a new car and need the cash so it has to go. All the lights and gauges work It has smoked out tail lights and turn signals looks cool!
