This is a 1929 Ford Model A 2 door Sedan...The car was a nice car to start with to build a nice traditional car.The car had no to very little rust..The car has a clean Virginia title registered to me,to sell a car in virginia, all that has to happen is the owner and buyer has to sign the title and thats it,no notary,etc. To begin, ********IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CAR TO WIN THE RIDLER AWARD,THE OAKLAND ROADSTER SHOW OR IF YOU ARE AFTER A WARRANTEE OR GUARANTEE,STOP READING NOW AND LOOK AT ANOTHER CAR.THIS IS A VERY COOL ,NICE PROFFESSIONALLY BUILT TRADITIONAL HOT ROD....NO WARRANTEES OR GUARRANTEES********************************************* the car was dissassembled and sandblasted inside and out,The doors open and close good, i dont have the window regulators for the front doors.The top was chopped 7" and the bottom of the car was cut off 4".The car has an old antique sign for a roof insert, the roof has wood bows and a vinyl top can easily be put on the car.The doors has inside and outside door handles.Iput the sign on the roof insert so it would look good goin to the top shop for vinyl,but,then the sign looked so cool I left it and didnt put vinyl. The frame is a rear swing arm set up, that has airbags,The car is about 39" tall wit hthe air out of the bags, the rear body sits 1/8" off the ground with the air out.The car will rais 4-7" with air in the bags.The rear end is 85 dodge with 300 gear ratio.The rear wheels are 20x9 dodge,Tires are good condition,the tire is 31" tall.The rear bags pump up with a tankless air compressor off of an ambulance with the push of a button, there is a guage on dash for rear bags.The rear swing arms are 2x2x 1/4" wall tube.The swing arms use a bushing,The swing arm mount is the same mount the trans mounts to.The frame is 3x3x1/4" wall tubing that runs inside the car.The front kick up is 7" and is 2x4x1/4" wall as well.From the side of the car it looks like the frame is 2x4, but when you open the doors there is no frame rails.The car sits on the rear frame rails.The car has no kick up in the rear, the swing arms allow the rear to move up and down.Therefore the car will still have seating for 4 people.***********KID FRIENDLY*************.The rear 3 glass and is being cut with real laminated dot glass and will be done by the time the car is sold.If I have time to install I will,No promises on install.but you will get the glass.The windshield tilts out as it should. The engine is a cool 1974 ford 250 inline 6 cylinder with a c4 trans.The engine was low miles .The engine was filled with oil when it was in storage, it may smoke a little until the oil is burned out of the cylinders.The engine was clean inside and no noises or ticks.The engine starts and runs,the carb is a holley and newly rebuilt, the engine has not ran long enough to adjust carb.The trans shifts and has a new filter and modulator valve and fluids changed.The radiator is a new 1968 Ford mustang 302 radiator with trans cooler,and new antifreeze.The engine has new points,plugs,wires,valve cover gasket,new oil filter and oil. The engine was not painted, it has the original clean patina with concept ppg clear coat. The front end is 1954 ford truck mono leaf, I converted to radius rod buggy spring set up.The radius rods are orig 1929 and are adjustable for proper front end alignment.The front frame rails are drilled and sleeved and pinch from 4" down to 3" toward the end.The radius rods are drilled, the steering is suicide with a toyota steering box. All brake lines,wheel cylinders,master cylinder,brake shoes are 1 month old.The car has brake and gas pedal installed.Shifter rod is installed.The car holds 7 gal of gas, the gas filler is in the roof.The car is wired and has a fuse box and tailights. This is what the car needs to be finished...Windshield wiper,electric fan,trans tunnel and floor pan,carb adjusted and front end alignment,headlights converted to 12 volt. The body has no rust, although there is a hole on the roof extention where rust lived at one time, the car has no body fillers,The car could easily be painted and made slick if you want.I do not prefer shiny cars so i leave all dings and welds.I dont hide anything with fillers and paints,The color of the car is red oxide ppg DP sanded through to the original green color.Then the car was clear coated.The inside of the car is also red oxide.The frame and suspension is a ppg bright red mixing color with clear also.
