Vehicle Detail

FYI: I am going to instll the interior, rug and tune it this week so i will be much farther along than these pics. I have taken this week off and if it doesnt meet the reserve this time I'm gonna drive it like I stole it and enjoy it. This is a bad ass car! For sale is my winter project a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 clone. I do not know if its an S or a 442 but I got it on a trade in October so I built it. It has a 455 with a Street Dominator intake, Holley 750 with a quick fuel kit, electronic ignition, Comp Cam 270 / 520, 2200 street fighter stalll converter, Turbo 400 with a shift kit, B&M shifter, leather front buckets power, W29 hood, front end gone through with new parts, floors are solid, will need trunk shortly (no bad but not great), paint is new but has a few runs and needs wet sanded and buffed, few dings here and there (I'm picky so its not bad), all chrome is in tact and have all to complete, new carpet (in the box), all the interior bolts and accesories from OPGI ready to go, Headers and duals with flowmasters, and alot more. This project is at 95% complete and the finish wotk is simple. Have all the parts ready to go just to many projects. Runs and drives but needs tuned not ready for the road yet. Sounds wicked and pulls hard. This is a great project with minimal effort to finish. Car is sold as is where is with all the parts and then some. I am in this car in the 5 digit ($) range and am asking a minimal amount to get out of it. Carr will need to be picked up in Lenoir City TN, SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY. I am right off I-40 and I-75. Thanks, mcp To answer all the questions previously, please review the following: Title: I have the previouse reg and ir is a Georgia NON-TITLE #998886101396001 from 4-18-2010 Seats and Console: This cat was a bucket seat / console car and still has the bracheccts and studs for both. I do not have the originals but can point you to a yard that has them. Seats now are 2008 Power / Heated Leather seats and the back seat is original but might be a chevelle seat. Engine: Got it out of a 30K 72 torronado from an old man locally. I peronally pulled it down, inspected it, installed Comp Cam, Roller timing Chain, Intake Headers and all new gaskets. Motor is super clean inside and out. Hve not timed it or tuned it yet but man is it strong! New Starter, Alternator, Waterpump, Pulleys, belts hoses, fittings, ect. Done right. Tranny: Turbo 400, Date code 72, Long tail, B&M Street Shift kit, Valve body pulled, internals inspected, cleaned and chrome pan installed, 2200-2400 Street fighter converter installed NEW! Chrome: I have all the wheel Well Chome, Interior Chome down to the seat belt clips and screw set from OPGI. Plus alot of doubles of most pieces. Rug: New from OPGI and in route with Fed Ex (should have been here by now) Comes with Hurst Pro-Matic 2 shifter . Front End: New Shocks, Center link, pitment arm, all ball joints are great and solid. Power Disk Brakes with good rotors and bearings all freshly greased. Body: Good. Has minimal filler in the usual spots but done right and very solid, Paint is OK and new. I wasn't real happy with it but it looks good ( I am picky about this). I would wet sand it and a few areas and work it out. Dash and Electrical: All there and works. Was an AC car but I removed the heater box from the engine compartment because it was rough. My Plan was to get the by-pass box from OPGI for $149 and go non ac but have the usual. New switches, lights, bulbls etc, some items just need finish work. Weather Stripping and window felts are all new from OPGI and NOT the cheap china stuff the OEM style ($$$). Comes with complete new Pioneer Stereo System (new in the box) readt to install. Car needs finished, its not perfect but could be, Rug installed, remaining interior installed, remaining chrome put on, Motor tuned and adjustments made, Brakes bled, Allignment, body buffed and worked, a little wiring and and little tweeks here and there, ect. The hard work is all done. I am starting on this this week. Why am I selling it? Have to many projects and going on travel with work and long hours for a while also I have a 62 Impala SS that is my main focus that I want to start on in the fall. Price? Well I am in it for close to 8-9k just in parts (no labor, but you never get that back anyway). So it is priced to move and I am taking a big hit but thats life. On Apr-12-11 at 17:43:09 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE READ! This car will need to be trailered or dollied home. It has not been tuned or finished. I will run all day long as I have done that around the neighborhood and quick trips to the store ( 2 miles or so). Unfortunately OPGI did not tell me my carpet was on back order but it will be here Firday, hence I have not had time to put all the interior in. Door panels, rear panels, headliner, back seat top, tray, is all in but with out a carpet I am stopped. Also this car comes with alot, if not all, of the parts to finish so the trunk is full! All the wheel well chrome, interior accent pieces, visors, dash trim, new hardware kits, etc are all there. Like I said the car is 95% but needs finished. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I have done my best to describe this car and as you can see by my feedback I have sold quite a few to very happy prople that I keep in touch with. Thanks and have a safe day.
