Vehicle Detail
Ford Model TT Truck This is one of the nicest and rarest Ford that you will find , There was over 5 years of restoration and thousands of dollars spent to make this the show condition it is in. This was sold from the Peterson Estate in the NW United States, I was lucky enough to end up with it and offering it for sale at No Reserve. The Engine purrs like a kitten , the Multi Use Trans and Rear end function like the day it was built , the Headlights work great , the Fuel Powered Driving Night Lights are in great working order. Still has the glue on ALL4 tires from the Label stickers (Brand New $1400)Overall you will not believe the many hours of craftsmanship making this a Show Vehicle. Rather than be long and drawn out let me rate the overall vehicle and that should sum it up. Engine- 9.5 Drivetrain 9.5 Brakes 9.5 Lights- 9.5 Chassis- 9.5 Underside 9.5 Bed- 9.5 Seat 8.0 Tires- 10.0 Wheels- 9.5 Originality 9.5 The vehicle is been sitting for years , I cleaned the terminals on the coils, drained the gas, replenished the coolant, tightened the belt and it started right up and runs exceptionally well. The buyer should change the oil, check the steering and safety stuff and install the rear glass (the small round one) ....that is it. It comes with additional doors and hinges so the Wood Shelves could be enclosed. Please look at the underside of this vehicle and how every nut and bolt was taken off and redone. Watch the video ... The Ford Model TT is a truck made by the Ford Motor Company. It was rated at one ton. It was based on the Ford Model T, but with a heavier frame and rear axle. The rear axle had a worm drive and crown wheel, unlike the Ford Model T's Crown wheel and pinion. The worm was located at the end of the driveshaft and above the crown wheel. The wheelbase of the car was 100 inches and the wheelbase of the TT was 125 inches. It was often equipped with a 'ruckstell axle' or some other accessory gearbox which allowed the truck to have an intermediate gear between low and high, which was useful for hill climbing. It was often sold as a chassis with the buyer supplying the truck body as needed. Mass production with Ford produced bodies ran from 1925 to 1927, but production of the Ford TT had started with the first TT chassis being released in 1917. It was very durable for the time, but slow when compared to more modern expectations. I ask that you pay for the vehicle within 3 business days of auctions end , understand that it is available for inspection up until the Saturday -1 day prior to auctions end, it is being sold as is and where as its nearing 90 years old. I will assist in setting up shipping to anyone that needs help , the Vehicle sits in my garage in IDAHO - IDAHO - IDAHO ( Not Scottsdale AZ) ...Please understand that we have moved to Idaho (and FYI the economy is not any better here). Good Luck and remember NO RESERVE ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V37NtDPMrUA
