Vehicle Detail
Looks Great! Runs Great! So, why am I selling such a fine car? I bought my Z3 in August of 2007 and was very happy with the performance. I had sold my previous convertible because of the lack of performance. This Z3 with the 3.0i engine capable of 0-60 in 6 seconds flat was all I needed to be happy. Forget about the lesser sized engines. I tried the 2.5 and although it was good it just didn`t have the power I was looking for. When I bought it, it had only 40,500 miles on it. Today, it has only 53,000 miles. In three and a half years I`ve only put 12,500 miles on it and most of that was in the first year. But, I still haven`t answered the question as to why I`m selling it. The answer is just a month after buying it my sister came to me with a proposition from a friend of hers who was in need of money and had a motorcycle they would sell me...cheap. I saw the chance to turn a quick profit so I bought it. Funny thing is it was the same model of bike I had sold an older version of twelve years before and even the same color! What are the odds? Well, it needed a little work, mostly cosmetic, so I started fiddling with it and taking it for short rides to keep it in shape and the darndest thing happened...I rekindled my love for motorcycles! I never expected to throw my leg over another motorcycle but there I was cruising down the road and enjoying the heck out of it. Oh, well... what can I say? In the meantime, my most excellent Z3 just sat in the garage feeling unloved. Well, enough is enough and it`s time this baby had a new home with someone who will show it the love it deserves. Before I got so enthralled with the bike I made some upgrades to my Z3. I replaced the wheels and bought new performance tires which have only 8,000 miles on them. I replaced the stock roll bars with stainless steel and even added a console lid which adds a nice cushion for my right elbow. The stock roll bars come with the car if you want them. It also comes with the reset tool for the oil change. And, last but not least, my Z3 comes with a full money back guarantee of the purchase price within 30 days if for any reason you`re not satisfied provided it`s returned in the same excellent condition. Shipping is not included and is the responsibility of the buyer. I will help coordinate the shipping with the new owner. A $500 deposit is needed within three days of your purchase and the balance within two weeks. This Z3 has the upgraded packages and everything on the list seen here... http://www.usautoparts.net/bmw/models/years/2001/z3_roadster_30i.htm except for the aluminum-look trim (it has the wood trim, instead), onboard computer and removeable hardtop. Paint (Steel Gray Metallic) is very good with only a few dings here and there. I`m starting the bidding low at $10,000. This is your chance to own a fine BMW for much less than it`s worth. Don`t miss this chance and don`t even look at a motorcycle. LOL Update: a question was asked concerning the title. The title is indeed clear and awaits the new owner. I will sign it upon receiving the balance but will not date it. Do not sign or date it until you are sure you want to keep the car as I will not accept the car back if the title has been signed by the new owner. I don`t need the hassle with the DMV. :-)
