Selling this cool lil buggie i bought from an auto auction,I believe it was someones project,brought into auction for invalid registration.I have papework from auction,if your a buyer here in california there is no problem getting it re registered and back on the street in no time at all,no smog required.If you are an out of state buyer or out of country buyer,I do not know what the requirements are for your state or country when vehicle sold with lien auction title.That being said,this bug is pretty nice,it still could use some love here and there,but i think the most of it has been done.The paint is in good condition as you can see,with no major dents or dings,it is still shiny but not show quality,the interior is nice with what looks to be new or newer seats with no tears or rips..carpet is good and looks good and sturdy,there is no headliner..most likely because there is a sunroof? and i believe it may cost a bit more to have done with the roof..the roof mech slides open and close but needs new crank and guts..its sporting the big 15 white wall tires and looks hot when theyre clean...roof rack included also color matched and in good condition,chrome bumpers in good shape,over all this is a good project or put a few dollars into it and go show...the motor looks to be original 1200 single port,im no vw wiz,it may be 1300 single port.This buggie starts and runs but needs a good tune up,I'm no mechanic,it may require carb rebuild or just a dial in?? the clutch and trans are good and working,the lights are all working except for turn signals wich the switch inside is broken or not working properly..Im selling this bug as is and where is,I know its worth some money and im not greedy,i'm not attached to it but it sure does draw alot of attention to my house!! I have driven this buggie once on a 30 minute trip from auction to home,there it has sat for a while.Like i said it needs some love here and there,best bet is to tow this lil guy so as to make sure you get it where you need it ..it boggs down and frustrated me on the streets..once out and about it ran good but could be better.if you have questions you can text them to me at 562 832 7950 drew.. i dont have much time to get to computer so ebay questions i may lagg on,if you text me ill answer right away...Im putting a modest reserve on it so as not to lose what i paid for it at auction,but theres another one on ebay for 3x what my reserve is...
