This 1986 Monte Carlo SS is in great cond. This car was repainted and restriped in 1998 entire car. I drove the car with the dog 305 each summer until 2009 when I decided to upgrade the trans and do a engine swap. The Trans was rebuilt with a shift kit 200r4 and the engine is a 350 4 bolt block bored 30 over thus355CID. every thing inside the engine is new except the crank and harmonc ballancer. New Oil pan,flat top pistons,comp mag cam, alum 190cc with 64 cc heads,msd ing,water pump,Hooker headers Alt,starter,1.5 7/16 stud alum race roller rockers, Dual Idler gear drive, new flex plate, preformer intake and 600cfm carb. Inside is 2 LED Apiller gauges also 3 more LED gauges under the kenwood radio with remote. The headliner has been replaced and there is no tears in any of the seats. The door seals replaced, all glass removed and seals replaced when painted in 1998. The only problem is there is 2 places the stripes are missing and the pas door will not open from the outside this is due to a clip inside the door and I might fix that ? also there is no A/C and heater hoses have been disconected. The tires are new as of 2-23-2010 but Pas rear tire showes wear This car has never seen snow and always stored inside so NO RUST. This is a GREAT car at a GREAT price I have every recept for all items. This car has been in several car shows and it hurts to let it go. I know the complete historoy of this car and have the org showroom packet. This car is FAST and lops with the big cam and sounds great. As soon as summer hits I will get asked everytime I drive it (is it for sale) Well now it is because of a pending move.
