1970 Honda CB

Up for bid is this very early Honda CB 750 KO. It has a manufacture date of 10/69. Vin number #CB750-1008975. Engine number #CB750E-1008861. This bike is only 1561 units from being the last "sandcast" and many of the parts are completely period correct for late sandcast. It shows only 26614 miles on the odometer. This bike has been in dry storage for many years. It ran when parked and will require minimal effort to actually get running. New battery, carb clean, etc... The inside of tank has minimal surface rust. Looks worse in picture than in real life. There is no centerstand. Frame tabs for centerstand mount have zero issues. It was removed when aftermarket exhaust was put on. Seat has tear in original cover, however, pan and foam are in good condition. Obviously, it was repainted and the old custom paint job is showing signs of cracking in the clear coat. RH side cover is gone. There are no DID labels on wheels or marks of any kind. Front fender has a small ding on top. Instruments are not perfect but descent. The motor is all intact. One small broken fin area 1/2 inch long on bottom of #4 on head. No issues with cylinder fins. I have tried to get as many pictures of areas of detail as possible. This bike is the lowest number early model KO that has come out in the light of day in some time. Bid with confidence. The bike has a clean/clear Colorado title as a 1971. It should be titled as a 1970. Should not be much of an issue to get corrected. Please contact seller with any questions.
