1951 Chevrolet Pickup 5 Window Short Bed Daily Driver: *Up for sale is my daily driver 5 window. This is a daily driver that I drive and would drive anywhere with no issues, time to move on so here it is: *Body is in excellent shape, only surface rust on fenders/hood and roof. Cab corners are solid as shown in pictures. Passenger side floor has small rust spot by battery cover, typical. *Small block runs great,no smoke, good compression, rebuilt 4 barrel, engine just gone through. Fan belt just replaced. No oil / tranny leaks. Mated up to stock 4 speed tranny through a late 60's truck bellhousing running the closed drive line. Gear ratio is set for highway driving. *Tires are 215/70R15 Radials that have about 80% tread life and in great shape. *Brakes stop well, master cylinder rebuilt. *Newer wiring, Head / Tail lights work. Emergency brake works. *All guages work, temp, oil, amps, fuel. Horn even works! Speedometer sticks at times, I have a new cable ready to be installed. *Center glass has crack in it ( not the cab corner glass ), driver side glass has crack as well. This is all flat glass that is not an issue to replace. *Clear California title, registration just renewed.
