1973 Jeep CJ5, I put new tires and wheels on about a year ago and have only put about 200 miles on since then (still have the nipples on them). I’m no mechanic but I can tell you that the motor is strong and you won’t find many jeeps with this bad a#% 401 motor. Jeep has been painted about 2 years ago and I only hooked back up the thermostat and oil pressure gauges. It would still need to have whatever additions gauges you felt necessary. Purchased about 5 years ago to take the kids to the beach and now the family has out grown the jeep. I have never had in the mud or off road but the jeep is ready to if you wish. It is a 1973 and there are some minor things that you could add or do to the jeep if you like, but it’s ready to go as it sits. There is hardly any rust on the jeep.
